My name is Miguel Angel Gonzalez M.D. I graduated in Madrid Medical School in 1968, Intern and OB/GYN Resident in Mount Sinai Hospital Hospital in Miami Beach from 1969 to 1974, practicing in Broward County since them.Board Certified in OB / GYN, I was elected 4 times for Chief of the OB-GYN Department at Broward General Hospital, and received the prestigious Meritorious Service Award in 2008.
As you may know during the time I did Obstetrics I create a Comfortable Childbirth with Hypnosis Method (Hypno Comfortable Childbirth), to deliver some of my patients. I graduate as a Master Hypnotist and Hypnotherapist with the prestigious Omni Hypnosis Center of Gerald Kein in 1997, after previous studies and practice for many years since 1968. In July 2000, I was featured in Miami Herald’s front page because I was utilizing hypnosis, TV News, lectures and demonstrations follows for a few years. At the present time, I am not delivering babies any more but I can prepare you for your delivery or I can train you how to do it under hypnosis.
What is CONFORTABLE CHILDBIRTH WITH HYPNOSIS?. Is an active effort to a better Childbirth by more natural means. A mind over body experience in the control of the birth process. The use of the Method is applicable to any women who wants to have a better, safe, and healthy Childbirth with comfort control and most of the times without medication. Doesn’t precludes the use of current techniques of Medical Analgesia , Epidural or Spinal anesthesia if needed.
I believe a women should not experience more discomfort that she is able to bear or tolerate. The use of self mind control techniques lead to the achievement of a more natural, faster, and comfortable childbirth experience. Using self hypnosis techniques, shortened substantially the childbirth process, because the deep relaxation of the pelvic muscles and the analgesia effect, facilitate the faster descent of the baby as it is designed by Nature.
The mind preparation and information done during the hypnosis training, helps to understand, tolerated or remove many of the uncomfortable symptoms and secondary effects of the Pregnancy, and helps in the healing and recovery during the Postpatum period.
HYPNOCOMFORTABLECHILDBIRTH combines my long experience in Hypnosis and related modalities with my extensive knowledge in Childbirth from many years of practice as Obstetrician, delivering many of my patients.This represent a great advantage and make a big difference when compare my Method with others technique used by Hypnotists that don't have any training and experience in Childbirth, or by Medical Personnel that don't have significant experience and training as Hypnotists & Hypnotherapists.
This Method is recommended to start at 32 weeks for the preparation of the Delivery or any time earlier if you want help the Pregnancy Prenatal process and bonding. It is very helpful and recommended, but not necessary, the presence of a coach like husband or surrogate.
Hypnosis is a safe, efficient, lasting and powerful form of therapy, part of the Alternative / Complementary Medicine, that can be use in the treatment of chronic and acute pain.
